How to Create Folders on iPhone iOS4
If you haven’t heard already, iOS4 is now available to download via iTunes. There are over 100 new features in iOS4 and one of them is creating folders to reduce home screen clutter. How do you create these folders? Read on.

What are folders exactly? Apple states “Organize apps into folders with drag-and-drop simplicity. Get faster access to your favorites and browse and manage up to 2160 apps.

I don’t know anyone who has 2,160 applications but in case you do, here’s how to set up folders. Simply take an app you’d like to place into a folder by tapping the icon and holding, then drag the icon over to a similar application and drop it into place.

Your folder is then created and allows you to create a title for that folder. To remove an application from the folder, simply tap and hold the icon you want to remove, and drag it out of the folder.

That’s it!

A similar procedure can also be done within iTunes itself.
